Dr. El-Feky is a partner at Texas Neurology, P.A (a comprehensive outpatient neuroscience center in Dallas, Texas) and the director of the Texas Neurology Sleep Disorders Center. He is a consultant at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and a clinical assistant professor of neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and Texas A&M University Medical Center.
After he graduated from Ain Shams University School of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, he came to the United States where he completed his internship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. He then went to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas where he completed his training and served as the Chief Resident of neurology. He then went for further sub-specialty training in neurophysiology and sleep medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. This was followed by a second fellowship in Neurointensive care at the Cleveland Clinic.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, he is also board certified in neurophysiology, and sleep medicine. He participates in medical students and residents education, active in clinical research and has multiple publications and presentations in national and international venues. He is selected annually as one of the best doctors in Dallas and Texas.
Dr. El-Feky has also been actively involved with non-governmental organizations and community work. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the NGO American Board Certified Doctors for Egypt (ABCDE), as well as one of co-founders of the NGO Egypt Children Advancement Network (Egypt CAN).
